Cannot, Synchro Monsters and Fusion Monsters belong to the Extra deck only. Side deck is to be interchanged between itself and your main deck.

regarding putting synchro in side deck,have to check with the organizer cos not many ppl know that now synchro monster can put in side deck.

the rule about synchro monster in side deck is:
In order to use the synchro mon in side deck,u are only allow to swap those synchro mon with cards in ur extra deck during the interval of a match between best-of-three duels.

I guess something need to be asked here. The playmat needs the boxes to be there? As in the boxes to indicate? Or just need a mat? I got the playmat I got from USA, but that one doesnt have the boxes, LOL

any yugioh mat will do.fake or real 1 doesnt matter

anyway, with regard to this tournament held in Singapore, is any pre-registration required or do we just go to settlers cafe at smu to register right on the spot?

how much is the registration?

and does anyone know from what time to what time is the whole tournament held?

You are supposed to be there by 8.30am to register and write decklist. Estimated time for it to end is stated at http://graceful-destruction.blogspot.com/2009/06/yu-gi-oh-national-championship-2009.html, which is 6.00pm.

Registration if I'm not wrong will be $10 like previous years.

And btw, what's the definition of FAKE playmat? Unofficial ones? Or custom ones? If so then drawn ones can mah..

I think the ones that come with the structure decks should be ok.

I dint know starter that one was consider a 'playmat' If compare the texture of the one thats much better in quality..

Weee, anybody care to share cool events that happened?

What does everyone think about 1 of the judges winning a lucky draw prize? Discuss. Personally i see 3 things wrong with it totally

1. A judge participating in giving feedback for a tournament which he was involved in. (E.g. My boss ask me if i think a good job? Obviously yes right? Duh)

2. A judge particpated in a lucky draw, which participants only got the survey form after we had registered and paid $10 for, obviously cool stuff

3. Obviously, just winning is a crime in itself.....

I wont comment much on the other areas of the tournament, since I had no real major issues, or at least in my opinion. But this really takes the cake siah...

Minor event: During finals, no crowd control, friend of our champion can just go up to him and whisper in the ear, while a judge sitting right next to him? They said that it was just asking what you wanna eat for dinner, that one abit wrong in itself, but still.... Not major incident i guess but.. How did something like that happen??? People crowding around is usual, cant be stopped, but can just directly whisper to players?? Very bad crowd control...

Note: Nothing against the champion, i know him myself, but still the above event is really not very... right....
