Shaman Ability
Auto: [Counterblast (2)] When this Unit is called to the Vanguard Circle or Rear Guard Circle, and you have a《Grand Blue》 Vanguard, you may pay the cost. If paid, choose 1 from your Drop Zone and call it to a Rear Guard Circle.

use shaman ability when called as rear guard, choose a grade 2 grand blue (if can 10k attack or nite shade)

nxt Captain nightmist ability (if you still lack a rearguard)

Activate【Drop Zone】 : [Counter Blast (1), Choose one Grade 1 or above《Grand Blue》Rear Guard and retire it.] When you have a 《Grand Blue》 Vanguard, call this card into
a Rear Guard circle.

Retire shaman though both attack are the same, Grade 2 can intercept.

now you should have a vanguard with two grade twos on ur field and you had only played 1 card.

why only 1 spirit exceed? :/

1 spirit exceed cos u can only superior ride when u have a knight and samurai on field and spirit exceed in drp zone... i find it a waste for 1 trigger to be going into the soul =D haha

my point of view

vortex said correctly, but if anyone can use Grand blue deck well, you can put 2 spirit exceed will be better, bc no counterblast cost.

why is the dancing cutlass excluded?its draw effect is not good?

reduce shaman to 1.... i rather u use buskirk effect than using shaman's ability
