Question: Is RGBT Legal?

I remember there was this ruling where new sets/cards/promos can only be used only after a certain period of time after release.

Last year world tournament did not allow the use of Duelist Genesis for some reason.

rgbt is legal,by 15th its already 1 month

Then genesis was supposed to be legal too back then, but whatever, it is over =P

Now that the upperdeck FAQ and stuff are all gone, cards rulings and questions will be very interesting on that day.

Just hope there will be clearer clarification before then.

Anyone who has any ruling issues, please post on the forum here first, so we can assist first... But of course, If reply is from me and Baha on the ruling, not sure will be accepted on that day though, LOLz

I don't understand the reason why this is locked.

The people who are arguing has already resolved their issues and I think everything else afterwards is legal questions.

So you should stop locking it. I dont want people opening threads for every single questions they wanna know about the tournament.

Actually I dont understand this. What if my opponent is crazy and decided to activate honest the moment I declare attack. Then me being the turn player, lose out on my priority and get bang for no reason.

i think he meant that dmg calculation is being excluded,the rest remain unchanged

1) If I'm not wrong, reprints are allowed, as long as it's an official set.

2) I'm also not too sure about this, but I think it's strictly to those Konami ones with the picture.

3) They mentioned main decks and side must be the exact same. But nothing about extra deck so extra deck should be okay if different card sleeves.

hm.... so does the 1st quote mean that there is no such thing as a second honest activation at the next avaliable window frame?? meaning that the 2nd honest is not chained to the 1st honest's activation in the same damage phrase.(akward expression >< )

i think he asking what would happen if opponent nvr ask jus chiong honest ba... i think there will be a replay? or watever happens where there is a DQ...

The question is what if we are both playing honest in the deck.

We all know the one who activate honest first will always be bigger in the end, so as the turn player, I should have the priority to activate it first.

Maybe with this ruling I declare attack, and I straight away, damage step limit break! Then people cannot holy barrier. Cool stuff!

Machine decks DID win, a loooong time ago.

To all members....during the game tournament, pls kindly rem not to argue with the judge that saying this " hey !! SG-YGO forum said this ... blah blah blah".

The reason ?

Well, even though we have judges in here, experience players, members who are willing to debate proper on ruling, mods who try their best to give u an official ruling with reference to official rules.

The game is not hosted by anyone in this forum...... its by the distributor who employs people who he/she deem fit to be host their game. Therefore pls don quote from this forum as a reference to argue with the judges there....

I believe many of us had been in the crap hole and out of there.....

It is an unfortunate (but not deliberate) incident that we do not have any judges/volunteers in the asia tournament structure. As such, I would recommend that interested participants PLEASE direct any potential doubts to the MoV website, or at least personally contact Bryan themselves.

I have spoken to Bryan on matters which closely resembles your concern, and we did agree that we will follow rulings which has been adopted / made clear in our own forum (or which is commonly accepted). If you have any queries, please feel free to post your questions in the forum, or direct them to Bryan for confirmation.

It is a commonly accepted fact that when in Rome, do as the Romans do... so I don't see any problems with that.

Something you guys can know:

1. If you don't like the judge ruling, you can appeal to the head judge.

2. Head judge rulings cannot be appealed.

3. If you have some obscure (secred weapon?) card, please clarify with us online before the actual tournament. We might make wrong rulings on the actual day if you wait until the last minute. (example: me crapping up the rivalry warlords ruling which caused baha's opponent to lose)

4. One rule of thumb for unfamiliar cards: We will err on the side of caution. Unfamiliar rulings on the actual day itself will be checked if there is a database, or if not, we will use logical similar examples (use honest ruling for bf qua'lat etc)

5. Per turn timing may/may not follow the official 7 mins ruling due to time and rental constraints. 3 mins may be adopted instead but rules will be applied loosely. (to prevent rulesharking)

6. We take a severe line towards players who try to rule-shark or "smoke" their way through a duel (as in slightly twisted rulings). Please report to us if you know of any such instances.

7. Its a CHILDREN'S CARD GAME FOR GOD'S SAKE!

Well thanks great....anyway its good that someone from tt side is pretty active watching this forum as it has become a common place for players to come in....anyway as much as the member in these forums have questions ....they have to register into another forum to post questions again...just for 1 event...maybe they can direct their questions here for your side to reply.....bryan also have an account here....just that he doesnt log in.... hope that you can see the ease for the players instead of the organizers.

Just fill in the ID no. on the form if you have, if you do not have one just leave it blank . They either issue one on the spot or a later time =)
