To answer you, rules say LE cards n magazine promos NOT ALLOWED, no Gorz and Tricky.
However, upper got reprint in booster.
BUT, upper cards are ALSO NOT ALLOWED.
So go figure.

One word of caution though.

The tourney is held during one of the busiest weeks in the SMU academy calender. Be prepared for many staring eyes......

This is one reason why I WILL not join it. Maybe go there look look then do project? LOL

if the people are really as busy as you've mentioned, would they have the free time to stare around? Lol

I thought those people crowding around the duelist tables were told to keep quiet, lest they affect the duelists?

gors is not allowed in the tournament, only promos tt haf been reprinted in official packs like brionac, gadgets are allowed. entry fee will be confirmed, as for the champion will be representin sg in the hong kong asia.

That's precisely why public heads will turn, because nouns like "monster reborn" n "honest" will stir curiosity. If it's just a dueling with no shouting or any rowdy behaviour, people will just walk pass without paying a look.

Back at the tag team tournament they say this cant use DT, Promos, eng exclusive cards and only can use cards that upper and konami have
but in the end everything can use causing everyone to last minute change their deck back. Sry for being straight but they do a lousy job

Well i would if they give me a chance plus the mistakes they made its all poor communication... they even spelled the place wrongly in the poster , kept a poster of that myself !! if the poster states everything clearly non of this will happen, you cant deny that can u ?

Well, whats stopping you from making a big event? You dont exactly need to book a big meeting room in a convention hall to get people to join you know.

Just plan your event thru, get at least a more accessible location (Speak to card gaming shops, some wont mind lending their space for advertising purpose), timing which is good (Especially for the many students). and of course if you plan how many people you have and the tourney fees, you can plan the prizes out (Nice prizes to attract people), and properly stated and FOLLOWED tourney rules, why not?

Then again, if you have people who dont even really play the game to plan the event and who only like to show off that they have a very big group of people (Filled with kids who dont really know that much better anyway), well, I guess we cant expect very much either way....

I have a question for rulings, what happens if you declare card effects wrongly? The card goes to the graveyard or gets set back on the field/return to your hand....
(Pardon my asking, I've only played casually and GX Tag Force...)

Then why make the poster in the first place if you choose to ignore it from the start -.- and i'm sure i'm not the only one that never go to your forums , if you want i can even draw up a petition if you want to see the response.
Not to mention a OFFICAL tournament and you expect people to ignore the posters and go to your forums ? i don't see konami doing that for a offical tournament

Screw-ups happen all the time, if you happen to read through the american tournament reports, so please don't subscribe to the i-can-do-it-better-grass-is-greener-at-the-other-side point of view. We need all the help we can get, so how about you volunteer to help host the next event? I'm sure we could do with the extra help. Plus you get a small "angbao" at the end of the day.

However, as an ex-judge (joining as player this year), there IS a lot of things that can be improved on. Bryan HAS his faults, but I am sure that things would have gotten a lot better if there wasn't so much wailing/ complaining/ aggressiveness in some quarters. Remember, Bryan is NOT a professional, so please don't expect professional posters, organising, correct rulings. All we can assure you is, there is no malice intended to alienate any parties.

MoV is a big "clan" with lots of kids, and that's precisely what keeps the hobby going. Shopowners are not going to make a living from selling 6 packs per box (the amount of foils in a box) since that's what most of us buy when new sets comes out (I only bought 24 packs/24 foils from RGBT). So having kids is not a bad thing, right? So please refrain from making snide references.

Ah, and before anyone starts saying "Oh, but who-who-who organises so much better!" Well, I joined their tournaments before, and it definitely wasn't any more distinctly better from any other organised by Bryan.

Anyway, I've suggested to Bryan some feedback to facilitate the tournament based on past experiences, so lets hope for some improvements this year, aye? I'll be the first to complain if there's any!

well if you need help i wont mind helping as for the angbao i dun really want it i just want to see people play with no complains pretty much like you do and of course like you say there are bounds to be flaws here and there.... in any case i owe an apology to you as i think my message was kinda offense. nevertheless if you need help with organizing things i will be more that willing to offer my help but of course you got to let me finish my tournament first if you have time do come down to visit the tournament if better yet play it. Question: Is RGBT Legal?

I remember there was this ruling where new sets/cards/promos can only be used only after a certain period of time after release.

Last year world tournament did not allow the use of Duelist Genesis for some reason.
