fortune lady lighty is unable to activate its effect for the case of dimension magic due to the missing of timing, however what about nightmare archfiends? If u tribute lighty to special summon the tokens, does it miss the timing?

yes it does...since u need to resolves Nightmare archfiend's effect while lighty's effect activates...(since lighty is optional effect, timing lost...)

Also...If u use Dimension magic to destroy lighty...it effect will activate...just dun sac it for the effect....destroy it with the effect...

Use to pay for COST = Miss timing cause it's not the last thing to happen.

Just look at rulings for jinzo returner, and you will get the basic idea....

Since all Fortune Ladies are Spellcaster-Type monsters, you can Tribute Fortune Lady Light, or any other Fortune Lady for the effect of Magical Dimension ("Tribute 1 monster and Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand" is one action so Fortune Lady Light will not miss the timing, however, remember that Fortune Lady Light's effect will miss the timing if you choose to destroy a monster with Magical Dimension's additional effect). so now whats the issue? if i tribute lighty and choose not to destroy anything, i still get to activate effect?

So long as the final action made is the monster being summoned, it will get it's effect. So yeah, if you choose to destroy after the monster getting summoned, then the destruction takes place last, and you'd have missed your chance to use Lighty's effect.
