Ruling on Karakuri Castle of Element

When a "Karakuri" monster or "Mechanical Spider" you control attacks, you can change the attack target's battle position. When this face-up card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, select and Special Summon 1 Level 4 or higher "Karakuri" monster from your Graveyard.

Saw someone playing this card today using Magical Hat... due to him hearing from some other players that Magical hat works on it... Yes, it does works on it if the facedown card is attacked and turn face up. But it DOESN't work if its destroyed by Magical Hats effect because its not face up.

Erm, above message is incorrect. It activates if it flips face up by battle...

Loosely trasnslated: However different from other field magic, it has to be face up to be triggered. So when using Magical Silk Hats, if it is not attacked its effect cannot be activated.

Conclusion: In the opposite meaning, if it is attacked, its effect can be activated

lol, my japanese not that good xD, i tot this card is same as those supervise need to be face-up when it is selected as an attack target~since wiki got mention let follow it
