Skill Drain + battle destoryed warrior lady

from what i found out, dd warrior lady's effect activates after battle calculation.
so where does it resolve at? graveyard or field.
if so, when skill drain is activated and face up on the field, does dd warrior lady get to use its effect and remove out of play tgt with the monster battling it ?

d warrior can activate its effect but skill drain negates it.

dd warrior lady activates at substep 6 of damage step.

It will also negate the effect of DD warrior/lady/assailant (substep 6) because they are face up when their effects activate.

its effect activates and resolves on field.

oh.
so the conclusion is that the effect activates on field.
thus if skill drain is activated, dd warrior lady's effect wld be negated if activated.
