February 27th team tournament on Saturday, top 4 winning teams will choose
from the following prize pool :


3 x Trishula Dragon of the Ice Bondary
1 x box of Shining Darkness
1 x box of Gold Series 2
1 x box of extra pack 2

Registration starts at 1.30pm, Tournament starts at 2.30pm, dun be late!

Price per team $8 per duelist $24 per team
1 team will consist of 3 duelists


Tournament Swiss with cut to top 8, Single elimination for finals

Additional : Most original Team prize!
The team with the most original decks will receive one Dino stucture deck


Rules:

1)Min 40 cards Max 60 cards, Side deck of up to 15 cards, Extra deck of up to 15 cards
2)No fake cards or proxies allowed.
3)1st sept 2009 ocg ban and restriction list used in this tournament
4)Korean, japanese, tcg exclusives and DT cards are allowed for this tournament
5) You are not allowed to change team members in the middle of the tournament
6) There is no extra time allowed, a draw means a loss on both duelists in the team
7) Cheating is not allowed , a team member cheating results in whole team disqualification
Cool Each team will choose a 1st 2nd or third player, who will then duel the opposing team's
1st 2nd and third player respectively, a win is declared for the team who has 2 wins.
9) If you are not sure about a specific ruling , please ask the tournament organizer.
10) You may enter the tournament with just 2 members , but the price is still $24 and
both players will have to win all your duels....

Ruling update

1) there is only 1 damage step
2) If u activate mirror force and opp play a speed 3 counter trap,
u may not activate another speed 2 card ,u go into damage step.
3) tempest magician is send , not discard
4)judgment kenna book liao WILL kill itself if he use effect.
5)oppression WILL stop starlight road and macross cosmos

The way you compared is really a joke = =" ... what kind of comparision is that...

If you want think about time spend ..

IF solo .. 2-0 .. 2 matches played

- IF team .. You finished playing , doesnt mean your team finishes ..

IF kof 1 kill 3 .. 3 matches played?

so.. Its kinda equally long or at least nt as much differences as you had mentioned.

Yah lah, I also know there is imbal 1 kill 3 and whatnot in KOF. But in the end like you say depend on team, there are teams which will play slower and end up playing the full 5 rounds mah.

Since you cant start a next round before everyone finishes, therefore, KOF confirm takes longer? True story is just the other time, we Team tourney about 5+ we up to top 8 already, while this time round i wait until 7+ then i see qualifiers finish, yes?

Unless we all play like Jeff can 1 kill 3 so strong lol.

Not everyone alike u , like to play the torture way .. 5 matches.. And stills win .

U give them bit hope for that 4-5th matches then u diminish their dreams by finishing them. = =" .. how saddening ..

It's unfair to compare the two formats directly since Team Tourney was using Rick's 2 win proceed to finals format whereas KOF was using a 4 round Swiss format. Considering space constraint, KOF would run faster than Team Tourney since the 6 players only require a pair of seats.

Before digressing further, I would recommend that the host highlight which ban list is been used in this tourney. Usually during this period you will experience people turning up to the tourney with deck following a different ban list.
