Yishun Tourney is suddenly change to the same date as the Jurong Tourney , If there is a need to postpone , Should it be the organiser of Yishun Tourney to postpone? Or should you ,the organiser of the Jurong Tourney to decidde to postpone?

You decide yourself since you are the organiser .


The decisions is yours to make, but try let us know whether is it postpone so that we can have enough time to form deck for specific Tourneys.

Kyoju I think you just be firm in your reply. I see all ambiguous replies. You just tell us, got or not. Simple. The turnouts will see how.
In addition, for the sake of those who wish to compare prizes. You might want to roughly outline what might be the prize in terms of your anticipated turnout.

To everyone, I dun think many ppl frm yishun will travel to jurong for this tourney and likewise for jurong to yishun, with a few exceptions, such as banana. But I still believe that it is mostly for convenience and not really for the prizes as our prize cant compare with theirs

Just got word from Kyoju that it will be postponed. Everyone pls take note of this.

I will leave it to Kyoju to inform members again of the new date of this tourney.

Seems that it will be postponed, well a day for slping I guess, need not rush build my deck too =/ ....

However imo, there isn't a need to postpone ur tournament even if another tournament is being organized on the same day, however its ur choice though =).

Be firm so that people will not waste up their time actually preparing for your tournament =).

Seems like there were supposedly to be 2 teams joining your tournament, if you held it.

Anyway, as what many in this thread has already stated, postponing your tourney in the face of other tourneys being held on the same day may not be a good idea. I feel that your concept here is interesting and a good way for many to enjoy. As for the other tourney, I can see a battleground there for the DT05 cards.

As for prizes, I think a box for the first place winners should be alright. No need to really get fancy and better prizes.

You really shouldn't postpone it just because of other tournaments. I get that you want good turnouts, but even with the other tournament , people will still come for this. Or is it because you yourself are going for the DT05 one?

I agree with Sazabi. Many ppl have been preparing for this tourney and just because there is another tourney held somewhere else, u pospone it..... Is it fair to others??? Anyway, y dun sazabi take our the hosting of this tourney as he is also part of sgduelist?

I could. But i need his permission first. You guys could still go down on Saturday. If there is enough people , the tournament will continue and i will host. Just a question though, since i've spent alot of time preparing for this , can i join as well =P

Go ahead. Since u are king enough to carry on the tourney for us, why not?? Everyone should have a chance to play, and have fun, while not turning the tourney into a warfield, such as at yishun.. I wil inform all of my friends to go, e.g liu hao and gang...

I can't contact Davin, but i'll have to see turnouts to decide whether to continue with the tournament.Prize would be decided on the day itself.

Okay guys, I know how you feel about the matter, and the only reason why I'm postponing this tournament, is because I don't want a clash of tournament dates. I know this is very annoying, but since:

1. This tournament had only one week to prepare.
2. The other tournament seems more attractive, seeing that alot of people would want the Naturia Balkion that they are offering.

However, I would leave this up to you people. If I get a few teams that are ready before the end of today (harsh, but the tournament is on Saturday), I will host the tournament because there are people who want to do it. I don't want it to be like the previous tag team one where I had to barely scrape for turnout. Thank you.

Anything more than or equal to 8 would be great.

If there is no 8 team , i would suggest prizes be reduce if possible to meet up your specific quote as wells as to keep the tourney goes on..

I think that we should put the tournament on no matter what. If there is lesser teams , we would reduce the prize, is that ok with everyone?

From the posts here , i can see that we have 4 teams. Just need 4 more

In the first place , we dont even know whats is the prizes except maybe you ,kyoju or the organiser etc..

In another words the reduction of prizes to what kind of state ,its simply unknown.

Just hope the prizes will be reasonably worth for the participation or at least dont make the participants look stupid after a whole day of participating/playing.

If my calculations and predictions are correct, if there are 8 teams , the first prize would be a box. Second and Third might have a good number of boosters.

If there is too little ppl , then i have no idea about the prize. Hope this might have helped.

I would likely give out a SET of prizes because there are 3 people in the team. I was intending to give out a set of Dark Dive Bombers (3 pieces) as the first prize, but seeing that we might have lower turnout, we'd most probably have to settle for a box of the team's choice, instead.

There are cases of what prizes to be given will be better , some places ask for opinions from the publics or participants while some implementing credits or amount vounchers , for example , the winning team could change for $20 card each or you could put it $60 a team to exchange for a $60 worth of stuff in the shop or albums etc.. or if you had any prize pool, the winning team could just pick someting inside etc.

There was, regarding whether Gladiator Beasts could tag out from 1 type to another. I'm not too sure, but I believe at that time it was ruled that it couldn't...
