1st: A box of boosters (choice of winning team)
2nd and 3rd: To be confirmed, depending on amount of participants.

Tournament Format: Double Elimination
Each Main Deck: 40 - 60
Extra Deck: Up to 15 cards
Each Side Deck: Up to 15 cards

Protectors do not have to be the same for Extra and Side Decks.

1 Duelists must write and and submit their deck list/register with SGDuelist membership card to person-in-charge upon registration.
2 The Tournament is using March 2009 Banned List (Advanced Format).
3 Both TCG/OCG cards can be used in this tournament.
4 Both ASIA and UPPER TCG cards are allowed, but no TCG EXCULSIVES.
5 Only genuine Yu-Gi-Oh Cards are allowed in this tournament.
6 Players retain the right to confirm rulings with judges/organizer.
7 Organizer and Head Judge retain all rights to disqualify any players whose behavior is of misconduct and/or for rule violations.
8 No changing of decklist until tournament is declared over.
9 Thousand Taste Trading will not take responsibility for any item loss.

Tag Team Rules:

Each team has 5 spell/trap zones
Each team has 5 monster zones
Each player uses their own deck (2 Decks per team).
Each player has their own graveyard (you cannot use your teammate's graveyard as if it was your own).
Each team has 1 Life Point total of 8000 (if it reaches 0, the team loses).
There can only be 1 Field Spell Card in play at a time, just like a 1-on-1 Duel.
Each team has only one extra deck, but each player is allowed their own side deck to use only with their deck.
Limited Cards are counted per player, not per team. So, for any given Limited Card, each player on a team could include 1 copy in their Deck, making a total of 2 copies that team can use. However, one player cannot include 2 copies of a Limited Card, even if the other player doesn't include any.

During a turn, a player can only control their own cards, and their teammate's.

Teammates may not talk, compare hands, and share information with each other.

A team loses if either player on that team cannot draw a card from their deck when required to.
Players on the same team sit next to each other, player A sits to the right of player B. Team 1 is players 1A & 1B and Team 2 is players 2A & 2B. The turn order starts with player A of the team that is chosen to go first and then alternates between teams. The first player who can make an attack is the player who goes fourth.

Card Rulings

If any part of a card affects your opponent's hand, deck , Fusion Deck, Graveyard, or Removed from Play, then the player activating the card effect must choose 1 of their opponents to apply the entire effect of the card to.
EXAMPLES: "Trap Dustshoot", “Mind Crush", "Soul Release", "Secret Barrel", "Crush Card".

If a card affects only your opponent's side of the field, it affects the entire side, or both your opponents.
EXAMPLE: Player 2A activates "Lightning Vortex". It destroys player 1A and player 1B's face-up monsters.

If a card affects "both players", all 4 players are affected.
EXAMPLE: "Dark World Dealings" is activated. All 4 players will each draw a card, then each discard a card.

Cards Set by a player can be viewed by the teammate, but they must be activated by the player who Set them.
Players can only activate cards on their turn. However, if it’s the opponent’s turn, either player may make a reaction. In such a case, it is best to appoint a “response” player.

Cards that require a number of cards of the field/hand to apply their effect only apply to the turn player only. E.g. "Restructor Revolution, Secret Barrel, Muka Muka"

can i bribe my opponent? cos its allowed
if i mistaken and put my fusion pile in my main deck , can opponent DQ me?
cos some shop owners did tat
can i have more than one side deck?
can i have more than 1 fusion pile?
can i have different color deck pros cos i wanna determine wat cards i will draw.

this is almost impossible.
players can stil wink , touch touch , kiss kiss , hand signals, or other patterns they can tink of to collaborate.

Tournament has been postponed to the 9th, in consideration of players having exams.

Actually it's quite difficult to stop people from comparing hands and sharing information. I mean, it's part of tag team dueling to discuss mah. Then also what if you just happen to peek at your partner's hand, and get a DQ.

Well, each player will be taking each side of the table, so it's kinda hard to view each player's hand or even discuss.

They can wink eye, tap legs, unbutton their jacket , scratch heads, touch other body parts.

Even if they are onli at table ends.
i dun tink if they look at each other , u will DQ them, ppl owaes have tons of reasons to cover up.
cos some ppl misses their teammate tat they have to look at them to satisfy themselves

Summarising i tink u shld come up wif a better plan

yugi N kaiba team duel = share strategy, talk wth each other XD

even when I do tag I use my own xtra deck and my team use his/her own xtra deck

But yup yup, just expressing my opinion lols. It's really very easy to cheat and GET ACCUSED of cheating if you set the rules like that. I mean, you sitting next to each other leh, and any tiny detail you do can lead to suspicion.

Aiyo, as I mentioned. If they devise a way to communicate with each other (other than verbally), they have good enough team understanding to do that. That's what the tournament about, to promote team understanding and unity!

Hye. If lets say the extra deck of the team has 6 gb gyzarus. will they be disqualified? Cause u said that each player can use the max no. of cards allowed.

There is only ONE extra deck. Look carefully. 2 decks, 2 side decks, ONE extra deck.

I still think dat if cant share info nt much ppl will join liaoz
