The aim is to allow people to come when ever they are free its true that if you do not come for all you will lose out but it will be the same if you increase your betting and of course win....like i said its the first time that this format is here well i do hope no one copies the idea as its kinda original. If this beta proves to be successful i will improve on the flaws.... To keep you updated there will be a Ranking Section on my forum on where your stand is. i hope you guys come to support.

LATER ON secret buying and selling outside tourney how?

"12 No Selling/Buying of cards between players are allowed during the tournament."

Ok, to be more specific on this rule,
does it mean no trading from start of time-slot to end of time-slot for the day (12-5pm)?
What about in between 1 time-slot to the other? (12.45pm-1pm), which happens to be the registration time before the next tournament time-slot for the day.

IMO, it sounds abit harsh to prohibit players from trading with each other in between each slots, or after a duel, when the outcome of the match is know and they have free-time lying around. Don't you guys agree?

1) well i only said no buying/selling, i didnt say you cant trade....
2) we will provide tables it can play up 24 duelist per slot if needed so dun have to walk around.
3)and also if you know the rules to try to break them, if you break them you should have prepared for the worst already.

Not trying to find loopholes, it's just to clarify what are the dos and don'ts. When players trade, there will be situations where it will be a trade+ top afew bucks. Another thing is, the word "trade" can also mean buying/selling.

I'm just trying to seek clarifications, not trying to find fault in the system. What you've come up with is commendable and I wish you success.

I think making it like normal tourney is good lol

To be honest i dun mind you guys selling or buying , i will close one eye if i see it but its not me that want to make this rule , its the higher ups. but at least do it outside of the tournament area that we cant do anything. one reason is because if you sell/buy cards in the tournament area you might be obstructing human traffic as the tournament will take up quite abit of space hope you guys understand

Point taken. Give and take lor. You grant us freedom, we respect your generosity in return. So, traders, take note, don't obstruct human traffic.

Actually, you all can always trade a worthless common and top cash.

Still considered trading.

Example, trading an X card with a Cloudian - Smoke Ball + X card's value of cash.

ok firstly you cant sae no one copies...cos it appeared in the anime ... so isnt like ya copying the idea too anyway hjope it will be successful...

nxt i am not sure if u have read my rules before registering an account in here...but you shouldnt be promoting pple to go to your forum to check standings....if you its like somehow you are getting my members in here to visit your forum and it would be unfair to the forum mods, admins and members who work hard to promote the forum..... therefore if you need a place to post standings, kindly pm me for more details....its like CDL and Rick shop...i am a thread for them to update...

But sometimes change one card can have a lot of impact.

Erm... Im pretty sure if I put skull servant in my deck and I draw it, that should have quite alot of impact, LOL

Personally, 1~5 cards seriously make almost 0 difference. You dont even draw that 1~5 cards like 70% of the time, whats the diff? Not to mention your deck idea, the key cards, the combos end up totally the same. Thats what I consider net decking

lol anime idea, season 1. later on the rule like season 1. 2000 LP cannot direct attack, no tribute, no paying LP, no effect LP damage, unknown effect gain ( I'm not sure in anime 1st season mythical elf have +800 ATK effect and gate guardian got negate atk effect ). field power up = +30% attack

Ah ha.... Actually you should always bring your own calculator and calculate. Up to you if you want to calculate your opponent life for him as well, but dont make it troublesome for your opponent to calculate for you.

Ah, this brings back memories. I still remember quite a few years back, once a tampiness player won a JJ championship. After the event, he posted on the forum his thoughts, and may I quote, "And you should NEVER bring a calculator. Make your opponent calculate your life points for you. This way you disrupt his concentration and he will easily make wrong moves"

Yup, that was the spark of quite alot of cute events..... Well, anyway for the count, I always had at least a calculator program on my handphone whenever I play, ever since I started playing, oh, 8+ years ago.

I tio cheated before by a blur opponent unintentionally before. Lol, everytime he I minus his life, he minus mine. Until later I realised, "Eh, I think it's 8000+ damage already leh."

Bringing your own calculator is your own responsibilty, but official tournaments only allow using pen and paper to keep track.

I swear letting people calculate is not that awesome either! I use confiscation, minus my LP, he use confiscation, minus my LP also wtfbbq!

The Duelist Box set comes with a calculator that can calculate for both players but that set is very expensive!

Actually, ANY calculator can calculate for both players. As long as can show 8 digits can liao.

There are many other types of calculators available in the market. You can have the sucky $102 calculator, the more-expensive solar-powered type, the functional type (which MANY sec/poly/uni students should possess 1), and last but not least, the ultra big display (exaggerated) ones. Well, to each his own.

Oh yeah, the Nintendo DS has this Yugioh GX Card Almanac software that can transform the DS into a life point calculator, dice, coin toss and turn counter...

And there's even software for Ipod and PSP to use.

Showing of Ipod, PSP, NDS, exposes you to the risk of getting it stolen, damaged etc.. So safest is to go with pen & paper. How hard could it be to perform simple DMAS with 4 digits?

That is only thinking time right? if you are actually doing your combo and stuff it doesn't count towards your 7 mins right =/

I remember japanese tournaments had 3 min per turn thing coz they wanna stop infinite loop decks lol.

7 mins is only for "Sitting there doing nothing."

If you're actually doing something with your cards that isn't just shuffling, it doesn't count towards the 7 min limit.

And I thought the judge was supposed to prompt you to make a move if he or she feels you are intentionally trying to stall?

Well judges are not always there if it is gonna be a big tournament.

Table judges only available during the top 8 or something.

the imagining abacus 1 is harder.... there is another forumla that make use of algorithms instead... something like patterns... budden y u need to know so much to do plus and minus.
