Registration

- Online registration will be open from 13 June 2013 to 20 June 2013 with their ACTIVATED duelist ID and password. For information on how to activate your ID, follow instructions in the following link. Duelist ID Activation
- If a player does not register online, he/she may be rejected entry.
- There will be NO online deck submission. Deck lists are to be submitted on-site using the form in the following link in the appropriate format. Deck List
- Ensure that deck lists are filled in clearly. Deck lists which are scribbled and not filled in accurately will be rejected.


Format for Singapore Qualifiers

4 round swiss, cut to top 40, 2 round single elimination, cut to top 10
Top 10 players will be joined by 6 seeded players from 6 mini qualifier events, info below
Note that all seeded players are required to fill in the deck list from the link below and email to DSummon@me.com by 22 June 2013 or submit on the event day morning by 10am. Failure to do so will result in revoking of seed status. Deck List

Rules for main and mini qualifiers

1. Deck Construction Rules
Deck must be between 40 to 60 cards, inclusive.
Extra Deck, while optional, must be between 0 to 15 cards, inclusive.
Side Deck, while optional, must be between 0 to 15 cards, inclusive.

2. Time limit of each match: 35 mins

3. No Fake cards or Proxys allowed in the event.

4. 1st MAR 2013 OCG Ban and Restricted list used in Tournament. Check the link below for detailed list.

Asian English cards are legal.

The following are illegal (unless reprinted in at least one of the above*):

o OCG Duel Terminal 3 and onwards

*If the card is reprinted in at least one of the legal sets, you may use any version of that card. For example, Jurrac Guaiba was reprinted in Tournament Pack 2011 Vol. 3, hence you’re allowed to use the Duel Terminal version of Jurrac Guaiba.

7. Any players who are found cheating or changing of cards during the tournament will be disqualified immediately.

8. All players are to submit their deck list on-site to register for the tournament prior to the event and ensure that their decks fulfill the rulings above.
*All players are to note that submission of decklists does not mean that responsibility of having a legal deck or not goes to the judges. Players not complying to the deck legality as per above rulings may be disqualified even if already mid game.


9. Only original Konami YuGiOh deck protectors can be used.
Note: Character, duel disk, TCG YuGiOh protectors will be allowed.

10. Double layer deck protectors are allowed, provided the outer layer must be a transparent deck protector. Players must use same color protectors for their decks, extra deck and side deck. No markings are allowed on protectors.
Note: Ultra pro is allowed, but the side with the ultra pro label to be placed on the front of the card (card image and effect), not on the back of the card (standard card backing)


11. Judges have the right to disqualify duelist who misconduct or violate rules.

12. Judges decision is final.

Must the whole deck be OCG?

Either OCG or Asia English cards only

And the cards, what is the meaning of OCG? means legal cards?

OCG means official card game. Namely the Japanese cards. English cards are TCG, or trading card game.

And yes, your protector has to be Konami ones. Basically the ones you can find in our official card shops

How do i ensure my dualist ID is activated?
I got the ID from the beginner session last month.

Your ID should have already been activated. The default password is 00000000. You can check if you can login to the system and see if it works by tonight (Konami staff helping to create the duelist IDs and activate today)

Because i bought some english cards from ebay, not sure can use or not

older ones can be distinguished by the logo at the back of the card. it shld not have the word "Yu-Gi-Oh" covering the "遊戲王"

Hi Players, so just to clarify...

Mini Qualifiers:
Sleeves need not be official sleeves and cards from TCG / other languages are allowed. However, they must adhere to the official card pool (No DT 3 and above, and no TCG exclusives - though Extra Pack - Sword of Knights should have caught up)

Main Qualifiers on 23 June:
Sleeves must be official Konami sleeves and cards from TCG / Other languages are not allowed. OCG and Asia-English cards only. And of course card pool maintains the same. Also take note that playmats are NOT allowed

Not for the main event but you can at least still join in the ranking/qualifiers though, as long as you follow the set card pool

Unlikely to win but playing and have fun is the main idea.

Another question is so when i buy english cards i must look out not to buy TCG cards?
TCG cards cant join official events so i must avoid?

Because i seen the LEgendary collection vol 2, wanted to buy but if cant use in matches then might as well save the money for other cards.

Actually Asia English is old series which are not released anymore. So if you are buying new cards you will not have the option of buying it, you can only buy Japanese if you want to take part in competitions.

Will there be a limit to the number of players who can join?

Remember last year the day before the tourney suddenly there was notice that only 120 players can enter.
Hope such a situation can be avoided or clear early notice can be given.

Erm, the format is 4 round swiss, cut to top 40, 2 round single elimination, cut to top 10. Its not single elimination so you will get to at least play 4 rounds. You do get the door gift regardless of win or lose though.

Just noticed that I had put up the info in the YES facebook page but not here yet so here it is. So just to also inform how these goodies will be available…

The playmat will be for the 1st to 3rd place of our SG Qualifiers!

As for the deck protectors, they will be given to the top half participants from the standings for our main event too (Based on the results after the 4 rounds of swiss)

Lastly, the door gift will be the latest tournament pack 2013 volume 3, so everyone will have an early glance at the contents~

hi i seem to have problem activating my duelist id, what do i do then?

Is it a password issue? Or an activation issue? If its a password issue, head to the site below to reset your password.

If the issue is not the password and everything else looks correct, you should email in to Konami and request for their assistance. Best to email in quickly so that they have time to process your request.

hmm i just send the email over, my problem seems to be i cannot register nor activate nor log in

If you have an ID already, you dont need to register anymore. Also if you have not activated your ID yet you will not be able to login.

Note to all seeded players. You MUST still register online in Konami's website, please make your arrangements. As for the decklist submissions, either send to me at DSummon@outlook.com by 22 June (1 day before) or submit directly on the event day itself by 10am. 

If you submit by the day before, you can come to the event venue and report by 1pm. If decklists are not received by either deadline above, your seed status will be revoked, do take note.

Its weird i can retrieve my duelist id but i cannot reset my pw when the information needed is the same

during the game, is it fine to use iphone app to do the caculate of LP 
as well as the rolling of dice and toss coin?

Because i found a app which actually have these fuctions and save me the trouble.

I have been encountering technical problems while trying to register my Duelist ID.
A 'connection timed out' message keeps occurring.
IN that case, are there any alternative ways to register other than from the website?

Best for you to email in to Konami, I think their system is down. Anyway even if you register now you will not get your ID so soon through the regular route so best to email them and also inform that you need the ID asap

I already have a dualist id (the card with 5D's logo).
But in order to register for the tourney I have to get the password or something?
And I checked but the tourney registration page is also down..
