| I think baha discussed this briefly on his blog, but it wasn't really brought out to be discussed openly...
Situation: I have Gladiator Beast Laquari on the field, just attacked, ready to tag out. But when I tag out, my opponent chains royal oppression and pays 800, and i chain twister to destroy the oppression.
So what will be the eventual status of the effect of my gladiator beast? Will the special summon be negated or not?

| I doubt it gets negated since Twister is higher up on the chain. Once Royal Oppression is destroyed I don't think it can be resolved since it is a continuous trap.
Official ruling:
If the effect of "Royal Oppression" is activated, and "Mystical Space Typhoon" or "Dust Tornado" is chained to destroy "Royal Oppression", then the effect of "Royal Oppression" disappears because it is a Continuous Trap Card, and the Special Summon will not be negated.
Case solved? | |

So I don't think you need to repeat what he just said? Anyway, more discussion, cuz I believe there is more than what meets the eye...

| Hey, chill... Just a discussion.
Anyway I think there's no room for doubt, there's no difference between Twister, MST and Dust besides the card names(and effects)... All are of the same spell speed and all can destroy Oppression. The GB will tag out.
