Starlight Road & Royal Oppression

Does royal oppression negate the special summoning of stardust dragon or negate the card totally?

Starlight Road Effect:
Activate only when an effect was activated that destroys 2 or more cards you control. Negate that effect and destroy that card. Then, you can Special Summon 1 "Stardust Dragon" from your Extra Deck.

As the special summoning of Stardust Dragon is an optional effect, Oppression cannot negate Starlight Road.

However, as I would believe it to be quite obvious, you can oppression the Stardust Dragon when it comes out. So, the Stardust will still hit grave.

Forget what I said, confirmed that Starlight Road can be negated (Completely) and destroyed by Oppression. Link is here. If anyone has further questions on starlight road when can be used or not, you can refer to the site as well.

actually it is something like macro cosmos,as the special summoning part is optional in that sense and oppression can negate cosmos.and if special summoning of stardust is the last thing to happen,then you can oppression.

Q: Is the monster special summoned by this effect considered to be synchro summoned?

A: No, it isn't considered a synchro summon. As such, a stardust dragon sp summon through this effect cannot be special summon during the end phase it is released by its own effect or by other card effects (Call of the haunted)...

the special summoning is optional.so u can use but dont special summon.
