Pseudo-Flip Effect

Erm, I just want to ask

Pseduo-Flip Effect Monsters basically have this text written on it "When this card is flipped face-up..."
Examples of which are Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo or Snowman Eater
I do know that even when they are destroyed by battle face-down, they are still flipped face-up first before going to graveyard, which their effect applies
But say, if my opponent uses cards which destroys like Snipe-Hunter and succeeds, are they (the Pseduo-Flip Effect Monsters) still flipped face-up and then activates it's effect?

No - the monsters are destroyed in the position (face-down in that case)
