Blackwing whirlwind/Greed

Scenario:

I have 1 Greed face up on my side of the field. My opp have Black whirlwind on his side. Then he normal summoned a BWing monster. Due to black whirlwind's effect, he add 1 BWing monster from his deck.

Question:
Does the card addition (from my opp deck to his hand) will trigger Greed effect to inflict 500 LP to my opp during his end phase?

Last time when I played with someone, none of us sure about this but then we agreed that the card addition was counted in, so I can inflict 500 LP to him for each card added by black whirlwind effect. But some people said no.

Each time a player draws cards because of a card effect, they take 500 damage during the End Phase for each card drawn by the card effect.

draw card and add card to hand r 2 different things.

black whirlwind
When a "Blackwing" monster is Normal Summoned to your side of the Field, you can add 1 "Blackwing" monster from your Deck to your hand that has less ATK than that monster.

hence he no need to take LP dmg. as least thats what i think.

Read the effect and it's pretty obvious...

Oh, ok. Thanks. So far I interpret drawing card and adding card are two same things cos both cause u have 1 more card in ur hand. My bad.
