Cool, sick of seeing BW, sporelord and other similar deck. I will try out either Debris Hime deck or Gravekeeper Control deck this coming Thu. Been itchy to test them out.

But i was a bit disappointed that i saw alot of main decks like dandy and BF but ..
we have a solution for next week

NO SIDEDECKS ALLOWED FOR SPECIFIC DECKS
will update again on the thread on the specfic decks types that cannot have sidedecks, it will mainly be decks like dandy, machina,BF...

The idea is to give other decks an edge over stronger deck archtypes but Six Samurai still banned...

I support the rule that no sidedeck allowed... Good for new players who dont know how to make or play wif a sidedeck yet..

correction, the sidedeck is only not allowed for specific decks
This is to give other decks a chance to gain an advantage and also let players learn how to make use of sidedecks

i planning a poalr deck i need the beast that can call one 3 star face down one anyone have that? and some deck searchers lol any suggestions? i wanted to go tourney but previously i practised there and failed epicly

no worries. since this mini tourney is for new players. it will be good if you can even try playing your new Polar Star Deck. Since it wasnt a sight on this 2 weeks of mini tourney at cardmaster.

Wrong post for the first/second sentences try the trading area.

Well you should go to more tourney and practise, tune your deck. One tourney is not enough as Polar God decks are still relatively new. But still playable heard that in Malaysia, Polars decks were used in the team tourney.

Ahh ok when i play with them they seem to be more or less better, i remember playing with a fabled guy and losing 3-5 duels in straight fashion

Of course, a fabled deck can otk pretty quick. So you need to tune your deck. Trust me Polar decks are playable just have to figure out the best meta play

yeah (: im a polar star beast duelist and my friend xxjodeemoxx is using a polar star spirit..

i concentrate on Thor and he concentrate on Loki. Trying to find a friend who can form a Odin (: Laoshi wanna join in (: i think you can defiantely form a good Odin deck (: haha..

As like most meta decks like bf,lightsworn are already strong enugh and do not require a side deck unless they reali wan to win however jus by restricting the side deck for a meta deck say a bf deck may not have much impact on it as bf players would just have another way around it such as turning to main dd crow and main other side deck stuff which will not affect the main deck at all,the plan of restricting the side deck is a good plan however you just may wan to reconsider another plan

if you scared then next time you just do a quick deck scan to see if it is a friendly or angry deck.

Err vamp its not being scared as the purpose of this tournament is to welcome new players.so i am jus commenting on the way to nullfy meta decks

Here's a break down of the top 8 from what i can remember. Can't remember the last 3 but i recall one being dandy warrior and stuffs. Mostly are all the meta decks.

This is a mini-tournament, and as stated people don't bring their killer decks and start raping the beginners. And I can say that this Gallis FTK can hold its own even if the FTK is not executed.

one more thing, a person played a gravity bind deck. which locks u down with gravity bind,lvl limit area B and he uses deck out tatics to win the game. personally i find that this deck is really a shocker to me as i wasnt expecting this kind of deck to appear. my whole side deck was all the things needed to face a meta deck not a deck like gravity bind lock. the moment he used gravity bind it was as good as game for me as i only have 3 spell/trap removal ,MST and giant trunade,

he used dimension fissure and needle worm. i milled my MST in the process and i had nth i can do abt it as my gadgets are lvl 4 and stayed on the field. he eventually decked me out using book of eclipse and stuff.

so,sometimes fun decks can be evil

I think this is what yugioh or cardgames are about. Not just purely winning thru using meta decks but facing and playing unqie decks.

The guy you faced is a malay guy right, a friend of mine, he always goes to JJ at Paya lebar.

I wish more of this type of decks will appear during the thursday Newbies tourney...

I also want to make mill deck, but impossible to find cards like needle worm, morphing jar 2, level limit b, giant rat, spell reproduction and desert sunlight here in singapore, except by buying packs which I hate random luck.

6th place is Morphing Jar-One-Kill. With A/D Changer and stuff. I was damn emo when I dueled him (Victor). I only had ONE turn. =.=

Luckily noone play Inferno Tempest OTK deck, otherwise if Gallist FTK meet Inferno Tempest OTK, all the monsters will get milled out.
