Prizes will be change if we do not have min 8 duelists, and we will increase prizes if response is much better than expected. we welcome all the beginners and for anyone who is testing their new deck , for old timers pls dun come down with your main deck as this is place for ppl and beginner to play out .

Format: Swiss of 3 Rounds. Cut to Top 4/8
Mantis/Computerized Pairing System

Rules:
1. Min 40 cards Max 60 cards, No side decks, Extra Deck of 0 to 15 cards.
2. No Fake cards or Proxys allowed in the event.
3. 1st SEP 2010 OCG Ban and Restricted list used in Tournament.
4. All language of Yugioh cards allowed in Tournament including TCG exclusive.
5. The side of your Protector showing your card must be TRANSPARENT.
6. All standard rules of Trading Card Games.
7. Table shuffle with your card face-down.
8. NO SIX SAMURAI DECKS ALLOWED

Just to clarify, does that mean GB decks can use a Side Deck now? Because last week, the list was extended right before the event itself, and it had an additional 5 more archetypes, including GBs and Frog Monarchs.

If the list never mention about gb or karakuri, then yes, both of you can side or the topic creator would have added it.

That's the problem. Although the creator of the list DIDN'T add things like Frog Monarch or GB on the forum as cannot Side Deck, on the venue itself, it had 5 more archetypes that couldn't use any Side Deck.

Exactly. The two decks I prepared last week were originally not on the list, but to my dismay, they were added on the actual day itself. If I knew, I would have built something else. =S

I think everyone should just play without side =D

Then dont need think so hard.

1) if you use meta deck, good for you
2) if you are a noobie using a new deck, chances are u wont know what to side
3) if you are a regular and try to be funny with a fun deck, then you probably wont need a side either.

Ok... Lets make a standardized list for all future mini tournaments.. Like that we dont have to keep arguing which decks are included and whatnot.

Banned:
Six Samurai

No side deck allowed:
Black Feather
Machina decks (Machina gadget, karakuri machina, anything wif that tank inside)
Frog Monarch
Gladiator Beasts
X-sabers (with or without darksoul)
Quickdraw decks (Anything which uses quickdraw as the main engine.. INcluding yusei decks which like spam warrior synchros like drill and junk destroyer like water)
Dandy decks (Any decks which include dandy and is top tier.. E.G plant synchro, gigavis ETC)
Fish OTK (As long as spam that big fish considered)
Lightlords (And PLEASE NO FREAKING SAMURAILORDS)
All monster decks (JIA JIE PLEASE READ THIS)
Dark Knight Beat decks

Hope this list will make the tourney mor friendly

I agree with Baha's saying, no side deck for all decks to be fair to especially the new players regardless of deck..

and same, six sam is still remain as banned..

I dun relly get this lol.... each time card master mini tourney news is up, these type of posts regarding side deck / can use this deck that deck etc... jus read the thread and follow what they say lah=.= and as wad baha and a few others say, just dun side deck lor=.= this tourney is meant for beginners to play / increase number of sg ygo players. Why bother to even prepare so much just bring any fun deck there and play la=.=

Half the time u will see some act smart ppl take bf/infernity/dandy plant go thr and say its a fun deck... Come on la... How are the above decks friendly?? How about u use some kuku deck then the beginner use bf and others against u lor... See how u feel

I resent that comment. Infernity is a fun deck.

You do not see that deck being top meta in Japan anymore.

firstly beginner hav no skill but tons of luck,secondly they hav no experience and lastly their top tier decks would hav a lot of crap. Dont tell me fireowners that u would be intimidated by such things? Also regarding the side decking,i find a reason 4 everyone nt to side,cause come on. Play so serious in a mini tourny juz 4 a gold foil reborn,to the extent that u have to side deck when u can buy it 4 6bucks? the only reason u should side is during a sat tourny and i can show u the REAL reason y u should side

and banana is rite... infernity doesnt top so much in jap anymore and most ppl just play it for casual...

@banana isnt your Infernity in Tcg Format -.-.... i mean... like.. Triple Infernity Barrier. And yes they still play Infernity in their major tournaments.

Go Google "Gallis FTK" deck, and you will know how it works.
