| Its like already halfway during the duel n this scenario happens:
Turn 10: Player A has a face down and a laquari then end turn
Turn 11: Player B sp cyber d,normal summon gale synchro stardust, then declares an attack,Player A activates Claymore dud targeting Stardust and his own laquari, when laquari is destroyed stardust should be destroyed by claymore dud effect.
Question: Can stardust negate claymore dud effect? | |

| claymore dud's destruction effect doesnt use the chain, hence stardust cannot negate it. nor can starlight road etc. | |

| Claymore Dud destruction effect is a resolution effect. When "Widespread Dud" is removed from the field, its effect to destroy the targeted monsters does not start a Chain Link. This means Stardust Dragon's effect cannot be chained to Claymore Dud. | |
