can card of safe return be use during damage step? jus making sure

Yes. The trigger effect will be in the damage step. But you draw after the damage step because the effect can only be resolved after the damage step.

Can cuz Card of Safe Return is already on the field..

I just realised I was wrong... cosr cannot be used in the damage step... somewhat similar to royal oppression.

Once again, Konami and UDE have different rulings with regards to this.

according to my knowledge[i may be wrong on this 1]

COSR and oppression cannot activate in dmg step


some other info.....
both can only activate once if 3 wulf sp summon at same time

1)eg:
have COSR
monster gate flip 3 wolf
wolf chain themselves chain 1,2,3
since COSR do not chain and cannot chain due to miss timing,the player can only draw 1 card form the last wolf sp summoned

2) eg:
have oppression
ryko flip 3 wolf
wolf chain themselves chain 1,2,3
since oppression do not chain and cannot chain due to miss timing,the player can only negate 1 wolf via oppression

This is confusing?!?!?!

Obviously oppression cannot negate opponent summon after it leaves the field because it does not have a graveyard effect.

some ppl hate their 800 lp and only chance to win go to waste ma. so insist it works.

i doubt it works. because its the same as cosr.

In short, you will have to clarify with the Judge(s) on which ruling will be observed for the Tournament.

sometimes is ask organiser , normally for card of safe return , we play yes ^^" .. thats what i encountering recently, just sharing my veiw

both cannot activate in dmg step la.

Oppression is a card you need to activate. As the usual, no cards except cards that affect atk/def and counter traps in damage step, therefore cannot activate oppression in damage step

For COSR, the typical ruling here in Singapore is that COSR is a card which TRIGGERS when there is a revival from your grave to your field. So no activation it just triggers, so damage step is no issue.

Oppression - something you need to pay cost to activate

(if the trap speed dont allow you to do so in "damage step",you cant loh ^^".. similar to the speed counter on 5D episodes..:p)

Card Of Safe Return - is something under the condition triggering.. doesnt really interfere whether the speed allow it to do so anot as long the condition are met. ^^"
