16 trigger grade 0 monsters and 1 grade 0 monster as ur vanguard. watch the anime for more info.

Standard build is 17 Grade 0, 14 Grade 1, 12 Grade 2, 7 Grade 3. 17 Grade 0 consists of 16 triggers, with heal triggers not more than 4 and a starting Vanguard. However, you can use any Grade 0 as your starting Vanguard so it is not necessary for a 17th Grade 0.

One example of a 17th Grade 0 can be : http://cf-vanguard.wikidot.com/lizard-soldier-conroe But its optional, based on ur build.
