| yes u are allowed. eg = u use alfred effect to counterblast 3, and call 1 unit. u will retire 1 rearguard. same applied to gigantic crusher.
but theres exception(for cards like general seyfreid), u cant retire because seyfreid effect says that u can superior call. if ur field is full, then u cant superior call using seyfreid because u must call it to an empty rearguard circle | |

| Oh, ok thanks  What about Devil Summoner? When this Unit is called to the [V] or [R] Circle, reveal the top card of your Deck. If that card is a Grade 1 or Grade 2《Spike Brothers》, call that card to the [R] Circle. If not, shuffle that Deck. If by chance it is a Grade 1 or 2, I can retire and call right? | |
