About Xyz Materials....

Ｑ：フィールド上に表側表示で存在するエクシーズモンスターを対象に《月の書》を発動した場合、エクシーズ素材も裏側表示になりますか？

Xyz Materials can never be face down.

Ｑ：エクシーズモンスターが守備表示になるとき、エクシーズ素材も横向きにしますか？
Ａ：いいえ、縦向きのままです。(11/03/19)

Xyz Materials does NOT turn side ways when the Xyz Monster switches to defense mode. (meaning materials are always in upright and face up position.)

Just kinda irritated how some players play their materials...(facedown side ways...etc....), this is the official way of placing yr Xyz materials.... Thanks...

Actually it doesn't really matter? When they say "Xyz Materials can never be face down.", they probably meant you can't exceed facedown or something. And shifting them sideways with the card doesn't really make a difference. Both players retain the right to check materials used at anytime.

relax it is a card game afterall. need not to write here so seriously la. yes i do know that players right, but it's fundamental that we should respect what is the game play ma. so what pokekid posted here is just for the sake of letting guys know how is it being played.

of cos, just a simple duel sometimes pple may forget and tend not to follow such minor stuffs like put it face down/shift sideways/ etc.

Some players adores to move the Xyz Material sideways when the monster is placed in defense position. Hopely, players don't place face-down the Xyz materials when the monster is Book of Moon'd

At least, OCG has its rulebook. ^^ Just follow the rulebook.

If you are moving the Xyz Materials sideways/facedown; the judge in official events can understand that as "Procedural Error-Minor" and will give you a warning.

As long as the player is comfortable, you can put it in anyway i suppose.
IN the latest worlds, the angel agent player left his mystical balls in horizontal position, nothing was done to him:)
