Ehren attks defense position Catastor, what happens

Catastor's effect activates at the start of the damage step

Ehren activates before damage calculation

Since start of damage step is before damage calculation, defense position Catastor will destroy it. This is if Catastor is face up position.

However, if Catastor is face down position, its effect will not activate, Ehren's effect will activate causing Catastor to return to extra deck.
