Vanguard tournament @Novena

Location = 150 Thompson Road, Thompson Euro Asia (5 min walk from MRT station)
Date and time = 16 May 2011 (monday), 3.30 pm until finish, registration opens at 1 pm
Entrance Fee = $5(inclusive 1 can of coke and doorgift)
Good News!! you can get a cheaper entrance fee by $1. How to do that? Bring 1 friend of yours and join our tournament. So you will only pay $4 while your friend A pays $5. But, if your friend A brings friend B, A will only pay $4 while B will pay $5. Maximum chain link can only be 3. So you can only chain up to friend D. I know its complicated, so contact us for more info or post your questions below on the comment section.
Please do contact us before the day of the tournament to confirm and drop down your name, so that we will know that you will be joining us.

How to go there if you don't know where it is. Players can start gathering at 1230 am , we will be going down from 1230 to 1300 to pick up gathered players , followed by 1300 , 1330 . 1330 is the last time we will pick up players , the location is about 5 mins walk from the mrt. But please do call me 1st or sms me so that i know that you want to be fetched.

Format = Swiss 3 to 5 rounds, cut to top 8/4
Prizes pool (if there are 10-15 people)=
- Asura Kaiser RRR
- Wyvern Guard Barri RR
- Vortex Dragon RR
- Barcgal RRR (if no of participants is 14 and above)

Prize pool (if there are 16 or more people)= -->(the prizes pool changes)
- CEO Amaterasu RRR OR 1 aleph RR + 1 aleph RRR + 1 thar + 1 bahr
- Asura Kaiser RRR
- Wyvern Guard Barri RR
- Vortex Dragon RR
- Gancelot RR
- Barcgal RRR
- Knight of Conviction Bors (TD01/002)
- Juggernaut Maximum RR (if no of participants is 20 and above)

For the TOP 4 winners, they will also get a ticket that can be redeemed as a free entrance ticket for our next tournament. So the winners dont need to pay for the entrance fee for the next tournament anymore.

@kev0z = if im not wrong, most schools will have finished their exams by friday this week. thus monday should be the marking day which is a holiday. furthermore, tuesday is a public holiday, and usually after exams the school time should be faster? and anyway 2 pm is the earliest. if u go to our facebook event, we wrote there 2.30 pm sharp. so do tell us if u will be late.

Schools like my school doesn't have mid-years, so our school ends at 2.30PM. Sad, cannot join.

ah sad haha. hmm, maybe u can try to see whether the teacher allows u to leave a bit earlier? just make excuses and say u have major tournament and u r the leader or sth? and anyway since i see a lot of responses that u all cant join if its 2.30, i will try to ask the security if we can change the schedule by abit. And anyway ITS A FUNCTION ROOM (AIR-CONED). so pls enjoy urself while u r there tq. i will try to update u all soon, after i ask the security guard.

Wow, a unofficial tournament organised by people, nice effort seeing the prize pool is very good and getting a function room to host the tournament.
Unfortunately I haven really got a proper deck yet as i just got the trial deck recently. Sad
But i do hope to see more of this kind of tournaments if possible they seem really interesting and sounds fun. But i don't think i can go there just of observe the game right? Do let me know if i can. Dang why did i start vanguard late

hmm, i try not to cancel it. but i guess maybe lower the prizes loh. coz if not 10 ppl i cant cover the cost of the cards and also cant cover the rent of function rooms. sry abt that

Side events as in? Can you give some examples?

'duel with the organiser' event, and if u win, can get some cards (this one if the participants are big and only applied to winners), then i may put in yugioh mini tournament also. a lot of things can be done.^^
