I suppose it isn't removed or destroyed since it cannot be destroyed, the second effect (remove from game) doesn't apply.

Coz bth is destroy first then remove, since it cant be destroyed, it cant be removed.

another scenario.

e hero absolute zero is on field.
e hero alius is in graveyard.

i activate miracle fusion and resolves
remove e hero absolute zero + e hero alius
to summon e hero shining.

question: is the monsters on opponent field destroyed?

a) destroyed because of mandatory effect.
b) missed timing and no monsters destroyed.

from what I know mandatory effects will take place no matter what so opponent's field will get destroyed due to zero's effect, please correct me if I am wrong in any way.

Regarding mask change, i found out that the activation is only choosing the hero monster.

qns: if someone uses book of moon on the chosen hero monster, will mask change resolve properly?

a) continue to resolve to summon mask hero, like chimeratech fortress dragon example of active player using a set cyber dragon to fuse?
b) fail, and nothing happens to the hero monster.

The hero monster will still be sent to grave and you still summon the M hero according to the type you send to the grave.
