◆ルール変更適用日◆
2011年3月19日(土)

今回のルール変更につきましては、遊戯王ゼアルOCG「スターターデッキ」の発売日と同じく2011年3月19日(土)からの適用となります。

◆ルール変更点◆[Differences in ruling

●変更前[Before]
モンスターの起動効果を、モンスターの召喚(反転召喚・特殊召喚)に成功したタイミングに発動する事ができる。
Monsters with Ignition Effect can activate their effects at the timing they are successfully summoned (flip/special summon].

●変更後[AFTER]
モンスターの起動効果を、モンスターの召喚(反転召喚・特殊召喚)に成功したタイミングでは発動できない。
Monsters with Ignition Effects WILL NOT BE ABLE to activate their effect the timing they are summoned successfully.
**This basically means bottomless Trap Hole owns DAD, Brionac...etc...


※基本的にモンスターの起動効果は、特に指定の無い限り、メインフェイズにて発動する事ができる効果になります。
何らかの効果処理が完了した時や、1つの行動の終了時という特定のタイミングに於いての発動はできません。
2011年3月18日までのルールではモンスターの召喚(反転召喚・特殊召喚)という特定の行動の終了時に発動ができるとなっておりますが、2011年3月19日以降はそのタイミングでのモンスターの起動効果は発動できないルールに変更となります。

变更前:
怪兽的起动效果可以在怪兽召唤(反转召唤、特殊召唤)成功的时点发动

变更后
怪兽的起动效果不能在怪兽召唤(反转召唤、特殊召唤)成功的时点发动

怪兽的起动效果只要没有特别说明基本都是在主要流程发动。在效果处理结束时或者一个行动结束时的时点不能发动。该规则变化从3月19日开始实施

This ruling chane basically means monsters with Ignition Effect will not be able to activate their effect (due to turn player Priority) if the opponent were to chain cards like Bottomless trap hole or etc...

Ancient Fairy Dragon
Dark Grepher
Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier [The reason y its reprinted as a common in GS03??]

hmm, for cards like black rose dragon that triggers upon synchro summon, they could still be activated before bottomless trap hole right? since the ruling only affects on ignition, i supposed they aren't affected

guess drill warrior suffered alot now

yup, only Ignition effect monsters are affected... They are supposed to be activated like how you activate Normal Spell cards now...

Drill warrior is still the same I think...

I dun think u can priority Drill warrior's effect to half yr atk to siam Bottomless trap hole right?

Yup, all the monarch are the same btw. They all activate their effect when they are successfully tribute summoned... similar to black rose dragon which activates its effect when it is successfully synchro summoned.

Well, it was an exciting weekend for some of us – Konami in Japan posted information on their website, concerning a change in the way priority will interact with Monster’s Ignition effects, and the TCG world started going ballistic.

Just to make sure our judges are all receiving correct information, I’m sending out this email. Here’s all you need to know for the time being:

1) This change will take place on March 19th for OCG Territories only. It will not be in effect in TCG territories (which means everyone receiving this email.)
2) In other words, do not make any changes to previous rulings in TCG territories. Players will tell you the rule has changed. They will be wrong.
3) When any such change takes place in TCG territories, judges and players alike will be provided with official information on www.yugioh-card.com. I will also send out a general email to the judge roster. There will be time to prepare and we will give you plenty of details about what the change will mean.
4) Once more, just for the heck of it – this ruling change does not currently affect the TCG. There are no changes in rulings for the TCG.


Good luck at your events in the coming weeks! You are in for a fun time.

Prominent decks that are not affect are gb, hero, gadgets, frogs.
there are more that are unnamed i suppose
