Mini Tournament @ Cardmasters

Date: 6th January, Thursday
Time: 3.30 p.m. (Registrations @ 3 p.m.)
Venue: Cardmasters, Dhoby Ghaut MRT
Entry fee : $3
Format: Swiss of 3/4 Rounds. Cut to Top 4/8
Mantis/Computerized Pairing System

Note: Kit had an idea to include to the Mini Tournament to make it more fun and challenging which is on Top of The Six Samurai Deck, we now allowed you to vote for 2 more Decks to be part of the Banned Deck for this Mini Tournament. Do take note that every week we will allowed you to vote for which 2 (out of 10 Decks) to be banned along side with The Six Samurai. Please note that Decks such as (e.g. Blackwing, Fairy, etc), its include all variations of it such as Blackwing is Whirlwind Blackwing, Graveyard Blackwing and Fairy is Hyperion Fary, Counter Fairy, Perfect Declarer.)

Please note that the Voting Had been Closed.

Hence the Ban Decks for this Thursday's Mini Tournament will be:
- The Six Samurai
- Blackwing (Whirlwind Blackwing, Graveyard Blackwing, Pure Monsters that make use of Graveyard Blackwing mech, or any variantions of Blackwing Decks)
- Fairy (Counter Fairies, Hyperion Fairies, Perfect Declarer or any variantion of Fairies Decks)

Prize Pool:

If 8 or less people - Top 4 Prize:-
- 1 Atomic Scrap Dragon (Ultimate)
- 1 Thunder Unicorn ( Super)
- 1 Pack of Storm of Ragnarok (STOR)
- 1 Pack of Inner Layer Protector (worth $5)

If 16 or more people - Top 8 Prize:-
- 1 Atomic Scrap Dragon (Ultimate)
- 1 Thunder Unicorn (Super)
- 1 Pack of Storm of Ragnarok (STOR)
- 1 Pack of Inner Layer Protector (worth $5)
- 1 Honest (Gold)
- 1 Smashing Ground (Common)
- 1 Pack of Storm of Ragnarok Twin Pack (STOR)
- 1 Machine Re-Volt Structure Deck (TCG, SD10)

Rules:
1. Min 40 cards Max 60 cards, No side decks, Extra Deck of 0 to 15 cards.
2. No Fake cards or Proxys allowed in the event.
3. 1st September OCG 2010 Forbidden and Limited List used in Tournament.
4. All language of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards allowed in Tournament including TCG exclusive.
5. The side of your Protector showing your card must be TRANSPARENT.
6. All standard rules of Trading Card Games.
7. Table shuffle with your card face-down.
8. NO SIX SAMURAI DECKS ALLOWED

if even scrap and x-saber is in the list, why is there no karakuri?

since when is karakuri fierce. karakuri cannot match with scrap and x-saber.

i dun mean to make personal attacks arh... but you cannot make a fierce karakuri doesnt mean other people cannot.... mix with morphtronic cannot meh?

if you want karakuri in the banned decks,so be it.

Can wear school uniform to the shop???...

karakuri can mix with the junk box for some synchro stunts, and otk.. anyway, u can wear school uniform, just dont play at the LAN computers. play at the card games side is fine.

it is funny that blackwing deck is getting the most hatred when most of the other decks on that list can eat BF like KFC.

isnt it ironic that the reason for banning more decks for this tourney is to make it 'more challenging' ?

Might as well ban all the meta deck then if this cannot use, that cannot use. Thus we're stuck with using generic beatdown deck.

I will probably be able to use harpy deck/amazoness deck then if all meta are banned, or use my fun "JAM" deck.

he is lucksack. you will see his first turn 4 lightsworn with 2 judgment and 2 honest in hand. confirm win. end phase jump 2 wulf. idk how to lose also.

I think that we should ban cards let say Six Sam deck w/o gates etc? if this doesnt work, how about banning certain ppl using certain decks and if it doesnt work out again just ban those veteran players from joining so that the starters can enjoy w/o experiencing the meta ^^ I think that a tourney of 50+ ppl will enjoy playing yellow skin monster whacking ea other =p

We will change the 10 Decks list the next time round based on popular demand. We will see which got the lowest vote and replace it with the suggested to be on the poll list for the next week's Mini Tournament.

So far (as for now), we will include Karakuri into the list.

If you do have any suggestions do say it out and see what's the rest say and we will see to whether to make it part of the 10 Decks next week.

He has a point there. You can have a custom banlist, like an add-on to the current one. Or something. It would be complicated, but it can work out really well if its implemented properly.

Banning players sounds cruel, but it makes a lot of sense, especially for this tournament. Banning decks works too, but there are just too many, and there might be a flamewar about Deck isn't Tier 1 or 2, blah, blah. Or something like "OMG! Why did they ban my favourite deck!? Its in Tier Fail".

I think you shud just let every have a fun tourney where they can use ban cards.

We had closed the Voting and as at 12mn on Thursday, 6th Jan the highest 2 votes are:
Blackwing & Fairy

Hence these 2 decks will be banned alongside with The Six Samurai.

And Gladiator Beast got the lowest votes hence it will be removed from the list and we will include Karakuri into the list (as its popular demand).

So next week's 10 Decks voting list will be:

Blackwing
DandyDebris
Fairy
Gravekeeper's
Hero Beat
Karakuri
Machina
Scrap
SporeLord
X-Saber

So do think about it and vote when the voting starts (:

Hello. I would like to suggest something. It would be better to remove the banned deck for this week in next week's poll. Its like every week vote same thing. like that i think Blackwing and Fairy like confirm no hope coming out le. LOL
