Additional Information

· The Tournament will be using the March 1st 2010 Banned List (Advanced Format).
· Audio Venture Trading and the organising RC are not liable for any material loss before, during and after the Tournament. Duelists are reminded to look after their belongings at all times.
· There will be a Lucky Draw at the end of the tournament, with attractive prizes to be won!

General Rules:
Only genuine Yu-Gi-Oh Cards are allowed in this tournament.
· Both TCG/OCG cards are allowed in this tournament.
· Strictly NO TCG Exclusive Cards allowed in this tournament.
· Strictly NO Duel Terminal Exclusive Cards allowed in this tournament.
· Strictly NO Korean cards are allowed in this tournament.
· Any Duelist found cheating or illegally changing cards during the tournament will be disqualified instantly.
· Non-Dueling players are not allowed to be near the Dueling Area.
· Organizer and head judge will have all rights to disqualify any players whose behaviour is misconduct and rule violations.
· Judges’ decisions are final.
· Players are not allowed to sell cards in the tournament premises.
· This tournament is open to all ages.

Playing Rules:
· Duelists will be playing 3 rounds per match, best out of 3.
· Duelists will be playing 5 Matches, after which the Top 8 would be decided.
· Top 8 will be playing with Single Elimination to determine the Champion.
· After every match, both duelists are required to report to head judge for clarification of results.
· Should there be any disputes over card rulings, Duelists may seek the aid of organizer or head judge to clarify.
· In the event of a draw, Duelists will enter into “Sudden-Death” duel to determine the victor.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Several things I've to say here. This is the exact same tourney as the previous one that was thought to be cancelled. Turns out there was a misunderstanding. When the RC said no budget, it's not that they didn't want to give, it's that they didn't even HAVE the $$ they originally promised. And hence, AVT has changed to a different RC willing to sponsor for this tournament. Venue will be changed, and I assure you it's bigger than the originally venue.

However, since it's being held at the AMK shop, I'm afraid trading will not be possible for the players, unless of course he decides to make an exception again.

So yeah, just passing the message here. Any further questions ask here or ask me in person if you know me, and I'll try to answer them.

How about Mist Wurm ? Its a DT exclusive, but its NOT a TCG exclusive, in the TCG its NOT printed in DT and printed in HA, so is it allowed ?

Maybe its the same for Flamvell Magician.

The easy way to resolve this is

- No DT cards unless they are reprinted anywhere else in the OCG
- No TCG exclusives
- but you may use a TCG version of an OCG card.

Say start at 12 then start late, then post there Mantis pairing system, then in the end got people need to fight with same opponent again, then post there got medal to win, then in the end never give medal ?

Eh at first say see win, next thing say see point, disappointment sia! Kuku system. Post here 5 matches, end up 3 rounds of swiss only. Cheated manxzxzxz..

@ Blackie:

We started at 1 partially because most of the players were late. Players were streaming in even from 12:45 onwards, and we can't refuse them if they really wanted to join. Besides, I'm sure we aren't the only tournament organisers that have experiences of starting late. If there are still players who wish to join, and others are still writing their decklists, I see no reason to refuse them. As a matter of fact, I recall the one asking for me to wait till 1pm was amongst your friends, though I won't say names. If this incident of starting late has caused any inconvinience for anyone due to them having to go home late, I apologise.

As for the Mantis system, I admit it was a mistake on my part, due to not checking it with the shop's laptop prior to the event day itself. It turns out the shop's laptop did not have the basic drivers required to run MANTIS, and hence we couldn't use it. However, you all saw how our pairings were done, we had the pairing cards, and players chose their opponents from there. As for the guy who had the same opponent, it was picked randomly from the stack, and we can't change it cause that would mean MANUAL PAIRING. Then there would be conspiracy issues and whatever.

As for the medals, I only just heard of it today from the shop uncle that the change in RC meant that the new RC was not sponsoring the medals. Hence I did not edit it earlier. If this has once again caused any unhappiness, I apologise.

The change of format was also partially because there were several players complaining about time constraints. Once again I won't specify names, but the change of format was also to make things easier for the players. Hence the direct cut into Top 16 after 3 rounds of swiss. We only starting looking at points afterwards cause it was the only way we could fit 24 people into 4 slots remainding slots of the Top 16 after the first 12 were already confirmed. Hence we looked at the points of all the 24, for the highest 4 to proceed into Top 16. If anyone has any arguements that this method is unfair in any way, I apologise then. My instructions were to make sure we could do the lucky draw before nightfall so the kids can go home early, cause they'll obviously scrub in the main event, and I just did as told.

In conclusion if anyone still insists on finding fault even after explanations, what's done is done. If you're looking for something to blame, you can go ahead, I don't really care either.

and FYI online registration is only for 118 players,the 10 is for the walk-in .In the end total 128
