Tournament Format: Swiss Format with cut to Top 8 (MANTIS)

PRIZES
1st Place - Extra Pack 1 (1 Box) +1 Gold Medal
2nd Place - Extra Pack 2 (1 Box) +1 Silver Medal
3rd Place - Duelist Pack 2 Yusei (1 Box) + Bronze Medal

LUCKY DRAW PRIZES
Grand Prize- Yusei Duel Disk Set (complete with all 4 Cards and Card Protectors)

Prize Pool includes Structure Decks, Twin Packs, Deck Boxes, Protectors and Many More!

Additional Information

· Duelists NEED TO submit their Deck Lists for this tournament.
· The Tournament will be using the March 1st 2010 Banned List (Advanced Format).
· Audio Venture Trading and the organising RC are not liable for any material loss before, during and after the Tournament. Duelists are reminded to look after their belongings at all times.
· There will be a Lucky Draw at the end of the tournament, with attractive prizes to be won!

General Rules:
Only genuine Yu-Gi-Oh Cards are allowed in this tournament.
· Both TCG/OCG cards are allowed in this tournament.
· Strictly NO TCG Exclusive Cards allowed in this tournament.
· Strictly NO Duel Terminal Exclusive Cards allowed in this tournament.
· Strictly NO Korean cards are allowed in this tournament.
· Any Duelist found cheating or illegally changing cards during the tournament will be disqualified instantly.
· Non-Dueling players are not allowed to be near the Dueling Area.
· Organizer and head judge will have all rights to disqualify any players whose behaviour is misconduct and rule violations.
· Judges’ decisions are final.
· Players are not allowed to sell cards in the tournament premises.
· This tournament is open to all ages.

Playing Rules:
· Duelists will be playing 3 rounds per match, best out of 3.
· Duelists will be playing 5 Matches, after which the Top 8 would be decided.
· Top 8 will be playing with Single Elimination to determine the Champion.
· After every match, both duelists are required to report to head judge for clarification of results.
· Should there be any disputes over card rulings, Duelists may seek the aid of organizer or head judge to clarify.
· In the event of a draw, Duelists will enter into “Sudden-Death” duel to determine the victor.

Im still trying to find out the 1st prize or the lucky draw prize better, haha. If 1st prize never get Brionac get Dandylion is uber fail.... Also the duel disk is the secret or ultra type?

i think the lucky draw grand prize is obviously the better one.

i bet atleast 85%(or 99.9%) of the ppl joining would care less about the competition and more worried about the lucky draw.

Duelist Showdown lucky draw prizes has always been better since the 1st Duelist showdown, thats our style of hosting the tournaments

Ur not encouraging players to play, only encouraging players to wait for lucky draw.

I think tourneys were made to encourage more competitive play, but in this case u guys are just screwing around and discouraging players from playing seriously.

Dotz relax guys, the 1st to 3rd prizes is not that bad for $5 entry.

Lucky draw is just extra bonus

Well we can't really do much about it. Those boxes are what the tournament organiser wants to give away, and I doubt he'll change it. Although some things don't have to be said, I'll just put it bluntly here. He obviously just wants to clear up old stock, so I don't think that can be changed. Anyways, you can just stick around for the lucky draw.

Everyone has a chance to win, and those who want more prizes in addition to the lucky draw can always win the main prize as well. AND, I might add, a CERTAIN kid has been winning one of the top lucky draw prizes for the past 3 tournaments we've hosted. So yeah, everyone has a chance to win.

Too bad I can't play YGO on Sundays .

The only problem for this Tourney would be the ending time, 5 matches and then top 8 would be a drag like what Blackie pointed out.

Medals do sound weird though, is it some sort of store credit? 0.0

But 13th June is a long way off so I guess theres still time to sort stuff out ba. ^^
