Actually, just be sure you know your own deck's card effects. For other players cards, of course knowing them will be good so we dont have to explain too much, but we wont really mind that much if you are obviously not so familiar.

Yes, I have seen players who join tournaments who dont even know their own deck's card effects. Quite a few in fact.
