Quick - Play Spell

Hi there, (new here) ^^

I have a question about quick play spell cards.

Q: Can I use My Body as a Shield on my opponent's turn to respond to there Lightning Vortex,
or does My Body as a Shield have to be face-down on my side first?

welcome to the forums Smile

for your quickplay spell to be activated during yr opp turn, it has to be placed face down during the last turn at least.
