necro valley VS manticore of darkness

if necro valley on field, can manticore activates its effect as manticore is same as treeborn frog, which states when this is in the graveyard ( standby or end phase )???
jus asking so that manticore will not be DDcrow when valley on field
So as to play exodia infinite draw...

Anywayz from what I know, manticore can take place cause its a grave activated effect, not an effect that targets grave. DD crow is an effect that targets grave so that one cannot be activated while necrovalley is on field.
