Cautions
• Cautions are given to indicate to a player that he or she has violated the rules.

Warnings
• Warnings are given to indicate to a player that he or she has violated the rules. These are more serious than Cautions.
• Cautions and Warnings will both be officially recorded.

Duel Forfeiture
• The player who is given this penalty instantly loses the current duel.
• If the rule violation that causes this penalty to be given occurs during the time between duels, the player automatically loses the next duel.
• All duel forfeitures will be officially recorded.

Match Forfeiture
• The player who is given this penalty instantly loses the current match.
• If the rule violation that causes this penalty to be given occurs during the time between matches, or if the current match's winner has already been decided, the judge may cause this penalty to be applied to the player's next match.
• All match forfeitures will be officially recorded.

Disqualification
• The player who is given this penalty instantly loses the current match and is disqualified from the tournament.
• The player is entitled to receive any prize or award that he or she won before the disqualification.
• All disqualifications will be officially recorded.

Total Disqualification
• The player who is given this penalty instantly loses the current match and is disqualified from the tournament.
• The player loses any prizes or awards that he or she won before the disqualification.
• All total disqualifications will be officially recorded.


Application of Penalties
A)
• Using the tournament rules and regulations as a guideline, a tournament referee may take the circumstances into account to either mitigate or escalate the penalty.

B)
• Should a player violate the same rule over again, the tournament referee may give a higher-order penalty to the player.


Violations involving the deck

a)Violations involving the deck
• Having less than 40 cards in your main deck
Penalty: Duel Forfeiture
Please add appropriate cards to your main deck so that it has at least 40 cards.
• Having more than 4 of the same card in your deck (including your side deck)
Penalty: Duel Forfeiture
Please take out the violating cards and replace them with appropriate cards.
• Having a banned card or too many of the same restricted/semi-restricted card in your deck (including your side deck)
Penalty: Duel Forfeiture
Please take out the violating cards and replace them with appropriate cards.

b) Violations involving the deck roster sheet
• Only applies to tournaments that require you to submit a Deck Roster Sheet:
Fielding a deck (including the side deck) that does not exactly match the one you listed in your Deck Roster Sheet
Penalty: Duel Forfeiture
Please change your deck such that it exactly matches the one you listed on your Deck Roster Sheet.

Rule Violations
• Unintentionally misinterpreting the rules
Penalty: Caution
If this happens before a critical point has developed in the game, then the game should be reset to its condition before the violation occurred.
However, if the game has already progressed to a critical point before this penalty occurs, then the duel should be continued as-is.
The card(s) involved in this penalty must be removed from play.
• Unintentionally drawing too many cards
Penalty: Warning
Place the card that you drew in error back on top of your draw pile.
If it is impossible to tell which card it was, or if the situation cannot be remedied, then "Penalty: Duel Forfeiture" is bestowed.
If the extra card you drew would have a definite effect on the outcome of the game, then "Penalty: Duel Forfeiture" is bestowed.
• Unintentionally seeing a card that you should not have
Penalty: Caution
The card in question should be returned to its appropriate place. If this cannot be done, or if the card seen would have a definite effect on the outcome of the game, then "Penalty: Duel Forfeiture" is given.
• Intentionally misconstruing the rules
Penalty: Total Disqualification


Tardiness
• Not being in your assigned place at the assigned time
Penalty: Warning
• Not being in your assigned place 5 minutes after the assigned time
Penalty: Duel Forfeiture
• Not being in your assigned place 10 minutes after the assigned time
Penalty: Match Forfeiture


Markings on the face-down side of cards
• If the markings are not distinctive (i.e. not intentional)
Penalty: Caution
Change the card's sleeve or protector to make it such that the face-down side is no longer marked.
• If the markings are distinctive (i.e. intentional)
Penalty: Duel Forfeiture
Change the card's sleeve or protector to make it such that the face-down side is no longer marked.


Unnecessary delay of play
• Unintentionally taking too long to make your moves
Penalty: Caution
If this violation causes the outcome of the match to be influenced, the referee may bestow a heavier penalty.
• Intentionally taking too long to make your moves

Attempts to fix the outcome of matches
• Attempts to decide the match through a random method like rock-scissor-paper instead of playing the duels
Penalty: Disqualification
• Attempts to bribe your opponent with money or other tender
Penalty: Total Disqualification


Fraud
• Intentionally misreporting the outcome of a match
Penalty: Total Disqualification


Unauthorized talking during a duel
• Getting advice from other players, spectators, or any third party during your duel
Penalty: Warning
If this violation causes the outcome of the match to be influenced, the referee may bestow a heavier penalty.
• Talking to other players, spectators, or any third party during your duel
Penalty: Warning
If this violation causes the outcome of the match to be influenced, the referee may bestow a heavier penalty.
• The player or the player's supporters engage in heckling, harassing, or disparaging the opponent
Penalty: Warning
You shall be held responsible for the actions of your supporters
If this violation causes the outcome of the match to be influenced, the referee may bestow a heavier penalty.

and pretended nth happen!!!

this is the ruling for lookin at cards

nxt...how u noe its intentionally ?

if u can prove it to the judge and the judge sees the logic in it...
he can be DQ...but the oppenonet can appeal to the head judge regarding this issue... and it will depends...
