Slight update to rulings regarding decklist submission under rule 9. I have pasted here for everyone's reference.

All players are to submit their decklist to register for the tournament prior to the event and ensure that their decks fulfill the rulings above. Teams with no decklists prepared or with decklists that do not follow the rulings will not be allowed to participate.

*All players are to note that submission of decklists does not mean that responsibility of having a legal deck or not goes to the judges. Players not complying to the deck legality as per above rulings may be disqualified even if already mid game.

Reminder to all players that first pre-qualifiers start tomorrow and for all teams to remember to print and fill up their decklists to bring to the venue.

Lastly, update on a ruling for winning teams for the pre-qualifiers as follows.
- Decklists for qualifiying teams have to be submitted by 13th November at the main event by 11am.

Uhmm, a question here. The deck protectors for extra deck can be different from main/side or all must be the same?

its the same usual official rules.......

all protectors have to be the same type,color,pattern.
Outer layer has to be transparent and colorless type.

Small update to entrance fee as Duelist Packs have arrived. Entrance fees now as follows.

Entry Fee per team: 6 Photon Shockwave Official Pack @ $6 each or 6 Extra Pack 4 @ $6 each or 12 Yuma Duelist Pack @ $3.50 each

Note: Yuma Duelist Pack restricted to 5 boxes per tournament, once 5 boxes sold out, the team will have to join by buying the other packs

Realised that there was abit of uncertainty over card legality today so just gonna directly mention the cards on everyone's minds.

Crimson Blader - Allowed (Released as Game Promo)
Jurrac Guaiba - Allowed (Released in Tournament Pack)
No. 61 Volcasaurus - Allowed (Released in Yuma Duelist Pack)

And of course cards that come from the same pack as the above mentioned are allowed as well. Simply put, the old weird ruling about cards having to be released at least 1 month prior to official tournament are not present in this tournament, and should stay the same for future tournaments. This is to allow players to play with a similar card pool as per what the winning team would have to play with when they go overseas, especially for Asia Format.

*Note that even for future Worlds Tournament Qualifiers they will still follow the Asia Format since we are still under Konami Asia, no changing that.

** If still in doubt of any card legality, always refer back to the main thread which states clearly about this issue. If still unsure, post in this thread to confirm.

yes, every asia and worlds tournament ur sleeves must be the same as the extra deck,main deck and the side deck.

To complement holylight post - In worlds, double-sleeving is not allowed. when you enter Worlds, the Tournament Staff will give you a set of WCQ Sleeves (x80 or x100) - you must change sleeves before the first round.

Why double-sleeving is not allowed in worlds? - Because the Konami Policy guidelines says "no".

For tomorrow's qualifiers(might not be the same for the other judges/on the main event itself), I will require the main deck and side deck sleeves to be the same. The extra deck may be another different set of sleeves but all 15 of extra deck must be the same.
