*Determined by a random number generator and based on your standings after 5 rounds of swiss. Please also note that players who dropped will not be included in the lucky draw.

Format

1. Swiss pairings using KTS/Computerized Pairing System

2. 5 rounds Swiss pairings (30 Minutes per Swiss Match)

3. Top 8 playoffs

Rules

1. Min 40 cards Max 60 cards, Side deck of up to 15 cards, Extra Deck of 0 to 15 cards.
2. Time limit of each match: 30 mins
3. No Fake cards or Proxys allowed in the event.
4. 1st MAR 2011 OCG Ban and Restricted list used in Tournament.
5. 19th March 2011 Priority Ruling in effect.
6. All language of Yugioh cards allowed in Tournament including TCG exclusive.
7. The side of your Protector showing your card must be TRANSPARENT.
8. All standard rules of Trading Card Games.
9. Rulings will be based on OCG rulings, regardless of the card being a TCG exclusive.

There is no limit to the number of participants allowed to join.

Yes, the tables were quite a issue today as there was a WoW event which was told to me when i reached.
Ah kit has gotten that feedback about the tables and he will try his best to let it be that there will be more tables.

next time a 2-day tournament, i think more people will enter and that can solve the issue of "players staying up late".

I did think of doing that too, but there would be school/cca for players who are students, not to mention working adults.
Hosting a 2 day tournament requires more of the player's time and effort, which was what i was trying to avoid.

It was a weekday with the exception of the National Day holiday...

Not possible to have a 2 day event

an entire weekend can be used for the event.

First day for swiss rounds, second round for leftover swiss rounds and elimination cuts, similar to YCS.

The players advancing second round is based on a point basis.

Example: A 65-128 players will be 6 rounds. The players with at least 13 points OR the best 64 players (whichever is number is larger) advance to second day to play more swiss rounds. and Finally, a cut to top 16.

Also can work as an endurance tournament. Still, to do that in vacations time, and with a cooperation of all stores in the country, all for the sake of organized play.

If it was 100-150 participants, then that would be another story. I believe it was just the lack of tables.
