can forbidden chalice and forbidden holy lance be activated during damage step since they alter the att of the monsters?
if no, then what cards can be activated during damage step?

Cards like shrink can be too

they can be activated in the damage step as they changes the attack values, but not during or after damage calculation

Well, only few damage altering cards can be used during the damage calculation. Cards like shrink, rush recklessly, forbidden chalice can only be activated during damage step but before damage calculation.

well, you just have to declare that you activated it during the damage step. if both player passed the priorities and entered the damage calculation, then it will be too late for u to use chalice. wherelse for kalut or honest, they are possible to be used during the damage calculation.
