Question: Is player A correct? When both players passed consecutively to allow the Chain to resolve, it will resolve in one-shot. Nothing can be added to the Chain while it is still resolving. Chain 1: Dark Armed Dragon's effect Chain 2: Formula Synchron's effect Resolving, Forumla Synchron will bring out Stardust Dragon. The Chain is not yet empty and still resolving, hence no effects (i.e. Stardust Dragon's) can be activated. Dark Armed Dragon's effect will then resolve, only to resolve with no effect (missing target) destroying Caius. - curryman wrote:

Question: Is player A correct? Similar to the above, except that Optional Trigger Effects (i.e. Black Rose Dragon's first effect) will miss its timing to activate if the effect is triggered in the middle of a Chain. Reasoning is as above. | |
