Mini Tournament @ Cardmasters

Date: 16th December 2010, Thursday
Time: 2.30 p.m. (Registrations @ 1.30 p.m.)
Venue: Cardmasters, Dohby Ghaut MRT
Entry fee : $3
Format: Swiss of 3/4 Rounds. Cut to Top 4/8
Mantis/Computerized Pairing System

Prize Pool:

If 8 or less people - Top 4 Prize:-
- 1 Sakuretsu Armor (Gold Rare)
- 1 Smashing Ground (Common)
- 1 Pack of Hidden Arsenal Volume 2 (HA02)
- 1 Pack of any S$3 OCG Booster

If 16 or more people - Top 8 Prize:-
- 1 Sakuretsu Armor (Gold Rare)
- 1 Smashing Ground (Common)
- 1 Pack of Hidden Arsenal Volume 2 (HA02)
- 1 Pack of any S$3 OCG Booster
- Blackwing - Jet the Blue Sky (Ultra)
- 1 Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck (SD20)
- 1 Pack of Hidden Arsenal Volume 3 (HA03)
- Protector worth $5

Note: Prizes will be change if we do not have min 8 duelists, and we will increase prizes if response is much better than expected. we welcome all the beginners and for anyone who is testing their new deck , for old timers pls dun come down with your main deck as this is place for ppl and beginner to play out .

Rules:
1. Min 40 cards Max 60 cards, No side decks, Extra Deck of 0 to 15 cards.
2. No Fake cards or Proxys allowed in the event.
3. 1st September OCG 2010 Forbidden and Limited List used in Tournament.
4. All language of Yugioh cards allowed in Tournament including TCG exclusive.
5. The side of your Protector showing your card must be TRANSPARENT.
6. All standard rules of Trading Card Games.
7. Table shuffle with your card face-down.
8. NO SIX SAMURAI DECKS ALLOWED

true true, but last weeks one was abit more shiong than the previous week.
I lousy lousy one, scared to go on saturday, no choice but to go on thursday

Maybe tournament organiser might consider changing thursdays to normal tourney, considering that it has become more or less a normal tourney

I think they wont want to change it to a normal tourny =\

Thursday tourny was intended to let players test new decks or play their fun decks in a tourny, or even let newer players join in without getting "owned" by those top tier decks. But seems that people will still bring in top tier decks to play, the only restriction is to not allow those decks to have side decks.

i think it is better to leave the thursday tourny like this as they are already more than enf "normal" tournys out thr

^ The reason why they have a Tournament on Thursday is to allow Newer players a taste of competitiveness in a Tournament. It's supposed to be fun.

ITT: Regular players are banned cept for Fireman here who will use his friendly GBs in order to create some enjoyable "Gyzarus your field, make a Herk, set a Chariot" happy memories, instilling into newcomers the fun and joy of Yugioh.

lol y dun they just do a quick run through of decks and say like some decks cant be used, instead of side deck not allowed.

In the previous mini tourney thread, baha already mentioned which the organizer agreed with it that is why ever since the previous mini tourney, all side deck is removed to be fair for the new players and those who planning to test deck.

since this is a mini tourney not the main tourney.
