Lightlord Monk:
If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, return that monster to its owner's Deck before damage calculation. During each of your End Phases, send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.
Extracted from Ruling:
Note that “Ehren, Lightsworn Monk” does not say “without flipping the monster face-up”. The effect of “Ehren, Lightsworn Monk” is applied after the monster is flipped face-up, but before damage calculation. If the Defense Position monster was face-down and has a Flip Effect, the Flip Effect will activate and resolve normally after it is returned to its owner's Deck.[1]
Snowman Eater:
When this card is flipped face-up, destroy 1 face-up monster on the field.
If lightlord Monk Attacks a facedown Snowman eater... does the effect of snowman eater activates? Since it isn't a FLIP effect monster but yet its effect is activated when flipped face up...
This qns arise after watching this vid...
Watch about 1min 40+ sec

if snowman flips then its effect should be activated, even if you flip it with ceasefire.
IMO the player in the video misplayed.

snowman has a pseudo-flip effect, meaning that it works like a flip effect monster but doesnt has the word "FLIP".
reasoning being, to avoid things like ceasefire, and nobleman of crossout.
so if ehren kicks him, she will be destroyed i think.

I read on jap wikia and it states that flip effect activates/resolves after damage calculation.
But since Monk's effect activates before damage calculation, the flip effect monster is flip face up, kick back to deck 1st, then resolve it effect even though its back in the deck.
does snowman need to be on the field for it to resolve?

Dear members,
Be sure to post a message once you have been registered. As I had just cleared 100+ member with no post in the forum. I am trying to keep the forum neat and tidy. Those users who just create an account to just come in to look and see, I am sorry but I have deleted the account. I would believe only the trading post is will be viewable to members so there should be a need for a guest to create an account to see what events we are having.
Also take note that TRADING THREADs are going to be auto prune everyday. Condition will be a post every 7 days else it will be deleted. Again its to keep neat and tidy in the forum.
