Let's just assume that the top tier decks are the ones which he has stated.

Those decks that I have stated are those which are constantly getting tops... Y no let some original decks have a chance??

no top tier decks... so tat means we dont "net" decklist and cre8 yr own version and can call it other deck name? @@

Well you can always implement a banlist =P

I will not create a customized banlist. The usual banlist will be implemented. And no, netdecking a deck and calling it another name will not work as there will be a short deck-check before the tournament. Players are also required to write their decklist beforehand to speed up registration. Thz. Maybe I should ban frog decks as well..... After all, it won a tourney in japan and in singapore as well

Zzz..Okok , so the decks not allowed are:

- BF
- AKB
- Lightsworn
- Gladiator Beast

Can we all agree on that?

And what are the guidelines which determine you are playing any of the above decks?

For example, people play normal Beast Synchro don't count as AKB right? Should be safe to run that.

For example, people just spash Gale and Bora into some random deck then is that considered BF?

personally i think making a customised banlist sounds better...

Look at tian zhang new video...They make a customised banlist for their tourney....LOL

plant deck should be included as well

but making a customised ban list is damn ma fan.look, u limit/ban gale of hurricane,bf cnnt play, then recue cat variants will rise,ban/limit rescue cat cards will let lighlord rise.ban/limit ll cards, will make froggies top.den must ban froggies.den froggies ban.,some other wierd deck will be top, this way, there will forever be a so called 'top tiered deck, so the customized banlisr range is dam big.

I think instead of AKB, just call the deck Synchro Cat because I think without the GK cards, the deck is still top tier.

What about Synchro Dark, Diva Synchro, Skill Drain Decks & Plant Decks (Debris-Hime, etc)?

Just ban the most important card in every deck...LOL

On the main track, it would be better to follow Baha's suggestion of a ban list imo. You will get arguments of people who say my deck only got 3 types of BF and alot of other chapalan, so its not BF. Yet, they will keep winning using the 3 types of BF... I think you guys know what i mean.

If not they use some mixture of half summon priest etc, other half is gale etc. Does that consider as top tier? Or people will play twilight, half BF, the other half lightlord. LOL. Also not considered top tier mah. Yet, this deck has been known to be abit unstable, yet also has chance of winning tourneys. How?

The rule of not allowing top tier decks is rather vague. I think you would need to be more specific on that.

I did tourneys like this previously, such as one ban card per deck tourney and such. They are fun, but the turnout not very good. Perhaps a reason would be ppl just too lazy to change deck to suit only one tourney. One way to overcome this is what Lingbu has implied that is having better prizes.

make customise ban list,
ban/limit key cards.
like ban card,
limit priest,
ban gale(:DDDDDDDDDDD)

So yeah, all go there play Chapalang deck for the sake of fun nia. Turnout not as good as usual is expected as players won't feel comfortable with these rules. Those who go will just play for the sake of fun.

If so, would like to suggest lower entrance fee. Prize need not be too fancy, it's all for fun anyway.

I'm not the organiser , so i have no say in the banlist - deckban arguement. But , i can give you a rough structure of the prizes.

*Assuming that there is enough ppl to gather money to buy the prizes.

1st , 2nd and 3rd will share a Stardust Overdrive box.

1st : 15 packs
2nd : 10 packs
3rd : 5 packs

All Top 8 players would receive 1 pack as a consolation prize.

........ 3rd price $5 get 5 packs.... $5 can get 2 packs liao....

If only top 8 lagi more sad, might as well I take my $5 buy my 2 packs...

We will increase or decrease the price according to the number of people. At least this tournament is not as bad as the one davin made, because 2nd-8th also gt nothing at all...... $5 went down the drain

1 box = $80.

$80 = 16 people joining.

Its not that easy to give great prizes. Especially when we're trying to give everyone something for entering. We could always put 1st gets 1 box , and the rest gets nothing, if that's your idea of a good prize.

Anyways , it will have to depend in the no of people joining. Or would you guys prefer singles instead?

P:S: fireowners , who in their right mind uses 3 black rose? No nid to semi limit that.
